Himeno Yui, the oddball of the class, finds his “shounen manga artist who's on the edge of the cliff” side exposed by the class prince, Ouji Hinata! Meanwhile, Ouji harbors a secret of his own: he is a devoted “shoujo manga lover.” Tensions rise as Himeno teases him about romantic relationships. Deep within the forest lives the wizard Luca. The creature he creates from the darkness awakens with no idea why it exists and is given the name Yugu. As the two begin living together, Yugu learns to take on a human form- but maintaining it requires physical contact with Luca. Yet every time they're close, Yugu can't help but feel that Luca isn't really looking at him... but at someone else.
