Humans are prone to sin. Thus, the gravest sinners are drawn from the earth to live out a sentence of divinity, eternal life, and atonement in a gloomy paradise where desserts are the only consolation. Ursula is brought to paradise against her will to serve as the record keeper. She must now venture through the fragmented memories of the other gods and record the stories of their mortal past. The sinners who enter paradise are wiped of their memories. Hence, the recordkeeper must find and record the stories of the gods who spend their immortal days repenting their sins on earth. Ursula enters rooms of their memories and discovers their sins and how they end up in paradise. The encyclopedia is Ursula’s record of the lives, deaths, and stories of gods and their mortal past.

The story of humans, Gods, and sinners who became gods. In the beginning, the Sky and the Void existed. The Sky tore itself apart to form the sun and moon, shattered the void to create stars and clouds, land and sea, and gathered animals from the rest of the Sky and the emptiness of the Void that had no place to go to make humans. Among them, humans resembling the Sky became the masters of the remaining Void, but they were often unable to control the original sin, causing chaos to the world. The Sky, in particular, directly judged and made atonement for sinful humans, so the atonement was to make humans into gods. Ursula, that from being a human became the God of Records, begins to look after the humans and record them in order to fulfill her heavenly punishment. The first chapter of the 'Great Encyclopedia' opens, which contains everything from the lives and deaths of humans, recorded calmly through the eyes of Ursula, to the stories of the Gods who were once human.
