Two months after coming to Tokyo, Iku is enjoying otaku life, but something mysterious is happening to him: He's started to see ghosts! Mimori Seo is a ghost. Rather, he was a ghost (or something like it) for a whole year while his body lay in a coma recovering from a near-fatal fall. At least, that's according to the story Iku Kurihara, a local convenience store clerk who for some reason has been visiting Mimori's dreams, tells when he suddenly confesses his love to Mimori.
